Mobile Games
As we all know, games on mobile phones are becoming better all the time. And with improvements in the smart phone genre, such as bigger processors (like in the Toshiba TG01 with its 1ghz), the improvements are allowing games to be bigger, better and stronger.
We have seem Nokia develop and release the N-gage application. Nokia failed at the invention of the gaming phone (try an internet search on N-gage and the N-gage QD) because although the phones had heart, they were ugly and useless, with a total lack of battery life.
Games on your mobile are great fun, but they just don’t make the bus journey to work or boring lectures any more fulfilled.
However, some clever people have managed to come up with a way that we can get games such as Quake onto our phones (well, onto the Symbian S60 3rd edition handsets at least!).
Follow this link to a walkthrough guide on another blog site which written for the Nokia E71, but has the same process because it is the same process for all S60 handsets (that aren’t too old).

You may or may not remember an article I wrote quite a while ago about bingo making an increasing presence on mobile phones.
I decided that now more and more people everyday are getting phones capable of displaying high colours, rich HTML and full-scale websites, it would be a good time to take another look at the impact bingo has within the mobile phone market.
I’ll start by mentioning there are in fact already several mobile bingo games available. They come in a range of packages, prices and styles. There are games that are free to download but require an internet connection and you can play against others online for real money. Then some mobile phone bingo games are simple for fun, they tend to cost money for the initial download, but then you can play as much or as little as you want.
With mobile phone screens being larger and clearer, bingo games are easy to use and play. Actually, some of them are quite fun to play.
I realise bingo games aren’t for everyone. Personally, I find bingo quite boring, however, there is something about being able to play it on a small screen that makes it much more satisfying and appealing.

So first came bingo clubs, then online bingo on our computers, more recently advertised by foxy bingo. But what next for the world of Bingo? The answer is mobile bingo on your phone.
Mobile technology is so advanced that we can now have great graphics and sound as well as playing for actual money. There are a few mobile games for bingo out there but none that have a multiplayer function.
But this a good sign that the industry is moving in the right direction and offering mobile games.
As we experience further growth in technology we expect to see a number of changes to happen to satisfy the bingo players among us.
