Phone giant, Nokia has today introduced a new device to its high end Arte-series. The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is basically the same phone as the previous devices, however it features carbon fiber with various 3d patters on its outside.
The phone will have the turn to mute and tap for time functionality that we have been used to since the first incarnation. This uses a built in accelerometer to make these features work. The new feature is the internal memory of the device is now increased to 4GB.

The first incarnation of the 3 Skypephone was a useful but extremely basic handset. It was one of the best and easiest ways to Skype on a mobile phone. With the tariffs from 3 it was somewhat a minor hit. However the phone was largely overshadowed by something a little more powerful, the Apple iPhone.
With this in mind the new 3 Skypephone S2 has been released and is set to improve on the display, camera and even its download capabilities. The aim is making it a more viable option for followers of the iPhone and other Smartphone’s.

Samsung have officially unveiled their new version of their i900 Omnia pocket pc. The rear, which is similar to the iPhone is a step toward pleasing the Windows Mobile fanboys.
The new white backdoes away with the awful wavy pattern that was very much like the N-series that was released earlier in the year. It will feature the same softly brushed back as the black version, only this time in a white colour.

Sony Ericsson has unveiled their latest handset. Introducing the Sony Ericsson T700. Photos of the device were leaked in the last few months so its hardly surprising really.
Coming with a moderate amount of on-board features, but with an affordable price tag, the new bar-shaped T700 is expected to impress with looks and price point rather than with functionality.
Sony Ericsson T700 comes with quad-band GSM support and single-band 3G support with HSDPA. A 3.2 megapixel snapper is also onboard but no autofocus. The handset also packs a 2-inch 262K color display with QVGA resolution.

Blackberry finally has an answer to the latest breed of touchscreen phones. After a long time in the making we can introduce the world to, the Blackberry Thunder 9500 with new Touch UI OS interface.
RIM are out to prove that its not all about Apple and Windows Mobile. The new device will have a large touchscreen TFT display with 360 x 480 resolution. Browsing the internet on the device will be amazing and easily match the Safari browser on the iPhone. It is hoped that there will be an auto screen rotation feature too.
The Thunder will more than likely run on a 624 MHz CPU which was recently seen on the soon to be released Blackberry Bold. Vodafone will apparently have the rights on the new device with pricing and availability yet to be announced.

For all those Blackberry addicts, we can reveal that the latest handset from RIM, the Blackberry Bold 9000 is not far from reaching us.
The phone is a high end device with a fantastic array of features such as a 624 MHz processor, 128Mb Ram and 1Gb of internal memory. All more than enough for your computing everyday needs. On the multimedia side theres a 480×320 colour LCD, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capability, built-in flash and 5x digital zoom.
The other useful features are:

The ultimate cameraphone has been spotted. Its been kept under wraps for a while now but the details have finally emerged. The Sony Ericsson C905, codenamed, Shiho is an 8 Megapixel beast.
With features like auto focus, face detection, image stabilsation, xenon and photo flash and a new feature called Smart Contrast to start, it has the makings of a great phone. Photos taken with the Sony can be geotagged courtesy of the built in GPS receiver. The accelerometer allows works very similar to the iPhone. There is a TV-out port for viewing content on your TV.

Well its not completely gone, but Apple have announced the new harder, better, faster and stronger version of the iPhone. Introducing the iPhone 3G.
No doubt it will cost a fortune but will be worth the financial ruin it brings, much like its predecessor.
The new unit has the same display as the old iPhone and has HSDPA support allowing faster data transfer rates. There is however no secondary camera for video calling though.
