Mobile technology is so advanced that we can now have great graphics and sound as well as playing for actual money. There are a few mobile games for bingo out there but none that have a multiplayer function.
But this a good sign that the industry is moving in the right direction and offering mobile games.

Sony Ericsson has unveiled their latest handset. Introducing the Sony Ericsson T700. Photos of the device were leaked in the last few months so its hardly surprising really.
Coming with a moderate amount of on-board features, but with an affordable price tag, the new bar-shaped T700 is expected to impress with looks and price point rather than with functionality.
Sony Ericsson T700 comes with quad-band GSM support and single-band 3G support with HSDPA. A 3.2 megapixel snapper is also onboard but no autofocus. The handset also packs a 2-inch 262K color display with QVGA resolution.

There are images appearing across the web of the “about screen” on the iPhone showing that the firmware has been downgraded to older firmware. This proves that hackers have gotten into the 3G baseline which will without dismantling the phone allow them to get around security checks and be much easier to unlock the phone.
So if the hackers are successful at unlocking the phone they should then be able to upgrade the iPhone back to its original firmware specification. Not long till this is completely sorted out…

As we reported last month the HTC Touch Diamond is available on Orange and has been for several weeks now, but today T-Mobile have released their own version of the HTC Diamond called the MDA Compact IV.
Why the delay I hear you all asking? Well T-Mobile have an extremely close and fruitful relationship with HTC and work together closely to have the Smartphone devices configured to their exact specification to make sure that the user experience is the best possible.
You can get the MDA Compact for free on most T-Mobile tariffs which is great as we think it is one of the best answers to Apples iPhone 3G. It has all the same features and more on a Windows Mobile platform. Oh and this phone actually can send MMS and receive them.
If you have bought an HTC Diamond, be it from any network; let us know your thoughts on it. Is it the greatest Windows Smartphone ever?

Nokia has a solid reputation for phones that have immense reliability, superb functionality and ease of use. So it’s no surprise that the Nokia 6500 slide helps solidify this reputation.
The phone comes in black and silver and has a sense of professionalism to it. There have been many positive reviews about the phone, which is good.
The phone feels solid and build quality is excellent. The buttons are well designed and are responsive along with the smooth slide action. Feature wise the Nokia 6500 slide has tv output, mp3 player and a 3.2mp camera with fantastic quality.
The battery life is good at around 2- 5 days depending on how you use it. Granted it doesn’t have the life of the Blackberry Smartphone’s but it does boast some serious features. Thankfully you can charge the phone fully in a matter of hours.
Overall the phone is easy to use and reliable. When you buy a Nokia mobile you instantly know that the basics are catered for and more, so really the 6500 is no different. An impressive device that serves Nokia and its users well.

In the recent films, James Bond has been using Sony Ericsson mobile phones and this time the makers are releasing a limited addition handset which will feature a load of 007 goodies to keep you entertained before you see the film.
Previously James Bond used the K800i Cyber shot in Casino Royale and back 2002 used the Sony Ericsson P900 and T68i in the Die Another Day feature.
Besides the fantastic finish of this phone, there will be a Bond game, screensavers, wallpapers and themes. There will also be some behind the scenes footage and interviews as well as a Quantum of Solace movie trailer.
So who’s going out to the shops to get this when its released? I know I won’t be, as I’m addicted to Smartphone’s and Blackberry’s.

A report has been released that highlights how we use mobile phones from January 2008 up to May 2008 and it looks at text messaging, mobile internet access and picture and video messaging.
Text message use keeps increasing by the week. Approximately 1.4 billion texts were sent from January to May and it would appear to be the most popular way to stay in touch. Even business users are now using texts as a communication tool.
The use of mobile internet has seen a healthy increase in the last two years and with most phone providers selling 3G USB modems and data cards with cheap contracts this growth is likely to carry on increasing. Picture and video messaging has also shown fantastic growth recently and this will continue to rise as the quality of cameras on mobile phones improves. Currently 10 million picture messages are sent every week from phones and the growth rate per year is 30%, which is quite impressive.
For the future, it is thought that mobile broadband will see the greatest growth over the next six months as better phones and tariffs make it to the market. Currently leaders of the field are the iPhone from Apple, the HTC Touch Diamond and the Nokia N95.
It won’t be long before mobile broadband is so advanced that it will overtake traditional PC access.

The latest Nokia E71 has been getting great reviews of late. As more and more of the major mobile phone manufacturers such as Nokia and Samsung bring an ever-growing array of mobile smartphones to market, the competition and the selection of phones available is huge.
The Nokia E71 looks fantastic and has some rubber ridges on the back that help increase the grip. Despite its full QWERTY keypad and the large display, the phone is remarkably compact and fits neatly into the palm of your hand.
Nokia is trying its best to get the lead in the smartphone market. The Nokia is designed to appeal both to consumers and business people, it has HSDPA, mobile email, a good camera, A-GPS with Maps, a great web browser and many useful tools.
One great big advantage for the Nokia E71 is the great battery life.
The camera is a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and automatic flash, as well as a camcorder that shoots VGA video at 22fps
Music on the move with your mobile phone is catered for by the multi format player that has good storage capacity via the micro sd card that comes preloaded with access to the Nokia music store. As you would expect it comes with an fm radio.
Browsing the web is great because of the HSDPA data speeds and once again not forgetting those consumers the Nokia E71 comes with a pre-loaded driving game
