Vodafone has managed to get an exclusive on two new handsets from HP. We aren’t too sure on the cost or exact availability but one thing is for sure they are about to make an appearance in stores very soon.
So the iPaq Data Messenger has a 528Mhz CPU with a 320×240 touch screen display. There is also a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS and a 3.1 megapixel camera. 3G connectivity comes with tri-band support. However there is no front facing camera meaning video calls are difficult. There is also a full QWERTY slide out keyboard.
The iPaq Voice Messenger has the same CPU but does not have a touch screen display. It does have a similar keyboard layout to the BlackBerry Pearl. As with the Data Messenger, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS are included plus a 3.1 megapixel camera. Again there is no front facing camera, which is a shame for making video calls.
