Vodafone have recently released an update for the HTC Touch Diamond. It basically fixes performance issues that have been discovered and also give extra functionality too apparently.
As you know the HTC Touch Diamond has been plagued with battery problems as well as some bugs in the software that have for some made it unusable in a business capacity. Let’s hope the update makes this phone what it should be, a brilliant Windows Mobile device.
It really was a shame that the device was released with all of the problems in the first place because it really tarnishes the product for a long time. I know it isn’t HTCs fault; it is that of the operators who push for unfeasible release dates. Really, they should test the software for much longer, rather than risk the products sales in the long term.

Hi there, I’ve had a look at the phone and this is what worked for me:
Go to:-
Start – the windows icon
Settings – second from bottom in the list
System – middle tab at bottom of screen
Regional Settings – globe icon
Use the drop down list to select language
If that doesn’t work, then you would need to download a registry editor
application. I would recommend that you do a Google search on something called a PHM registry editor. As far as im aware it should be free. The best version available at the moment is called Pocket PC 2002, 2003 ARM.cad. You just need to save it on to your device and open it, it should the self-install, then you just need to follow the instructions.
HOWEVER, if you have to use the second option, you risk both voiding your warrentry and, if you incorrectly amend the regeristry, you could break your phone. So make sure that you are certain of what you press.
Hope this helps.
